Ellen Pompeo Checks Out The Los Angeles Antiques Show
Ellen Pompeo was spotted arriving at the 16th Annual Los Angeles Antiques Show in Santa Monica, CA on Wednesday (April 13).
The 41-year-old actress was among an A-list invite list that gathered at the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport for its annual collectors’ preview followed by an opening night cocktail party. The event doubled as a benefit for the public school arts program P.S. Arts.
Meanwhile, despite a clear ratings grabber, Grey’s Anatomy‘s recent musical episode is continuing to get poor reviews.
The Boston Herald thought several actors pulled off convincing performances, but overall the paper was not a fan of the concept. “I really wanted to love this episode,” wrote Herald critic Mark Perigard. “But the Grey’s Anatomy ‘event’ proved how tricky it is for an established show, especially a drama, to pull off a musical episode.”
The Wall Street Journal was even less complimentary. “The doctors sing to Callie as she’s being wheeled to surgery. It’s unclear if she was crying from the pain or the sound of their voices, which were equally painful,” wrote The Journal’s Lyneka Little.
