Interestingly, all three names have religious connotations: Cyrus (which ranks number 514 on the Social Security Administration's list of popular baby names) comes from the Greek name "Kyrios," meaning "Lord" while Michael comes from the Hebrew expression meaning "who resembles God" and Christopher comes from Kristophoros, a Greek name meaning "Christ carrier."
Christopher, in fact, has a family connection for both mama and papa: Danes' dad is named Christopher, and it's also the middle name of Dancy's brother. As for Michael, well, we're not sure where the inpiration for that one came from, but you can't go wrong with a name that's consistently been near the top of the SSA's baby names list.
