Look here for an organized trick guide, I'll be continuing to add to it, if you write a description to a trick not already covered and PM it too me I'll edit it into my first post and give you credit, I hope this helps a few people.
360
1) Approach the lip with a little bit more speed than it takes just to clear it. you'll loose some forward momentum with your rotation.
2) As your front tire is leaving the lip this is when you should start your rotation, Turn your head and drop your inside shoulder.
3) Keep your head turned and when you get about 270 degrees spot your landing
4) finish off the rotation and set both tires down on the tranny and ride away.
Tips: Keep your head turned through the rotation, if you stop looking you will stop spinning.
Not going into details about dumping or tabling your 360s, everybody seems to have a slightly different method those.
Backflip
1)Just like a 360 make sure to take a bit of extra speed into the jump to accommodate for the loss of forward momentum with the rotation.
2) As your front tire leaves the lip look back and shift your body weight back almost as if your doing a manual.
3) Keep your head back your entire rotation and spot your landing
4) As you finish the rotation spot your landing and get ready for touch down
Tips: Commit, commit, commit! Most important thing about a flip is to keep your head back your entire spin, looking forward will stall out your rotation and you will land on your dome.
If you have to press the eject button do so after the point of being totally inverted so you can land on your feet/knees rather than your head.
Tailwhip
1) approach the jump with the same speed needed to clear it
2) when your back tire leaves the lip take your non kicking foot off the pedal and kick the bike with your kicking foot.
3)As your bike is spinning use your arms to throw it the rest of the way around
4) Get your feet ready to catch the bike, there are two ways of doing this:
A: lift up your non catching foot and throw it over the bike as your catching foot finds the pedal(Cam McCaul, Brandon Seminuk)
B: Hop onto the bike as if you were standing on the ground and get both feet on pedals at the same time.(Darren Berrecloth)
Tips: Tailwhips are an extremely frustrating trick. Catching Tailwhips is probably the hardest part of any trick on a bike. When your first learning them consintrating on getting the bike around, then on getting your legs over the bike, then aim for one pedal then finally landing with both feet on pedals.
