采用许多五个同类型的通信网络组成的网路基础架构IPV8 的web3.0的兼容型系统网络。
一个局域网(LAN)覆盖一个小的地理区域,如学校或公司;
一个城域网(MAN)通常跨越一个较大的区域,如一个城市或国家;
而在广域网(WAN)提供通信在广阔的地理区域覆盖国内和国际的地方;
个人区域网络(PAN)的无线局域网用很短的范围内(几米),使计算机设备(如PDA和打印机)的沟通与其他附近的设备和计算机。由于位置启用(或GPS功能)的移动设备(如iPhone和Android手机);
网格区域网络(NAN)一个新类型的通信网络是新兴的 - 近我室内的网络的日益普及;

        A storage area network (SAN) is a dedicated network that provides access to consolidated, block level data storage. SANs are primarily used to make storage devices, such as disk arrays, tape libraries, and optical jukeboxes, accessible to servers so that the devices appear like locally attached devices to the operating system. A SAN typically has its own network of storage devices that are generally not accessible through the local area network by other devices. The cost and complexity of SANs dropped in the early 2000s to levels allowing wider adoption across both enterprise and small to medium sized business environments.
        A SAN does not provide file abstraction, only block-level operations. However, file systems built on top of SANs do provide file-level access, and are known as SAN filesystems or shared disk file systems.

          Xerox Network Services (XNS) is a protocol suite developed by Xerox within the Xerox Network Systems Architecture. It provided general purpose network communications, internetwork routing and packet delivery, including higher level functions such as a reliable stream, and remote procedure calls. XNS predated and influenced the development of theOpen Systems Interconnection (OSI) networking model.
          XNS was developed at Xerox PARC in the early 1980s, based heavily on the earlier (and extremely influential) PARC Universal Packet (PUP) protocol suite done there in the late 1970s; some of the protocols in the XNS suite were lightly modified versions of the ones in the PUP suite. XNS was intended to be a commercial descendant of the research/development oriented PUP. The protocol suite specifications were placed in the public domain.
          Being in the public domain, XNS became a canonical local area networking protocol in the 1980s, copied to various degrees by practically all networking systems in use into the 1990s. It had little impact on TCP/IP, however. During the 1980s XNS was used by 3Com and, with modifications, by a number of other commercial systems which became more common than XNS itself, including Ungermann-Bass Net/One, Novell NetWare, and Banyan VINES.

            IPX and SPX are derived from Xerox Network Systems' IDP and SPP protocols, respectively. IPX is a network layer protocol (layer 3 of the OSI Model), while SPX is a transport layer protocol (layer 4 of the OSI Model). The SPX layer sits on top of the IPX layer and provides connection-oriented services between two nodes on the network. SPX is used primarily by client–server applications.
            IPX and SPX both provide connection services similar to TCP/IP, with the IPX protocol having similarities to IP, and SPX having similarities to TCP. IPX/SPX was primarily designed for local area networks (LANs), and is a very efficient protocol for this purpose (typically its performance exceeds that of TCP/IP on a LAN [citation needed]). TCP/IP has, however, become the de facto standard protocol. This is in part due to its superior performance over wide area networks and the Internet (which uses TCP/IP exclusively), and also because TCP/IP is a more mature protocol, designed specifically with this purpose in mind.
            Despite the protocols' association with NetWare, they are neither required for NetWare communication (as of NetWare 5.x), nor exclusively used on NetWare networks. NetWare communication requires an NCP implementation, which can use IPX/SPX, TCP/IP, or both, as a transport.

                The Palm TX (written as "Palm T|X" in official documentation[1]) was a personal digital assistant which was produced by Palm, Inc. It was announced and released as part of Palm's October 2005 product cycle, and was in production until March 2009.[2][3][4]
                It succeeded the Tungsten T5 PDA. The TX marked Palm's discontinuation of "Tungsten" sub-branding for its high-end handhelds. It featured 802.11b Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. It ran Palm OS Garnet, version 5.4.9. As Palm considered the LifeDrive to be separate from its PDA line, designating it as a "Mobile Manager", the TX was Palm's flagship PDA.

                    iPhony is a launcher program for the Palm OS operating system released by SimToGo and announced on multiple Palm software forums and blogs. The interface is a simple simulation of the Apple Inc. iPhone interface introduced at the 2007 Macworld Conference & Expo. Installation is intended for smartphones and other Palm-based cell phones such as the Treo 650. By touching icons copied from the announced iPhone interface, the user can launch one of the programs installed on the phone that was preset to that icon.

                      While some viruses do exist for Palm OS based devices, very few have ever been designed. Typically, mobile devices are difficult for virus writers to target, since their simplicity provides fewer security holes to target compared to a desktop.[edit]Viruses for Palm OSName of VirusPayloadDate Discovered

                        ScummVM is a collection of game engine recreations. Originally designed to play LucasArts adventure games that use the SCUMMsystem (the VM in the name stands for virtual machine), it now also supports a variety of non-SCUMM games by companies likeRevolution Software and Adventure Soft. It was originally written by Ludvig Strigeus.[1] Released under the terms of the GNU General Public License, ScummVM is free software.
                        ScummVM is a reimplementation of the part of the software used to interpret the scripting languages such games used to describe the game world rather than emulating the hardware the games ran on; as such, ScummVM allows the games it supports to be played on platforms other than those for which they were originally released.
