My favorite track on this album is called "Brand New Me",
the song is about a journey it makes to finding yourself.
It started with a melancholy melody,simply beautiful,sounds wonderful to me.
Some of the chords for this main riff are sort of made up of like C,D,E,F,Gsharp,B,I mean it's really a simple song,which also illustrates how great it can be when piano meets pop music,again,Alicia has set the bar way high.
Personally,I love the percussion section through the whole album,some of them reminds me of Roland TD series Compact voice and some other drum machine due to the electro sounds,as well as the claps instead of acoustic snare drum,to me all of them sounds really warm and tight and clean everywhere.

about the lyrics,it makes sense after Egypt was born,Alicia has started a new life with her husband and son.Then I found that the whole thing was actually about the profoundly awesome feeling she had just found,about self-fulfilling,about lucidity of her own life.I know I may be a little over-reacting,but her overwhelming voice always make simple words more meaningful.
