真的假的。。 Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder may be following in their characters’ footsteps and bringing Delena off-screen. According to a new report from E! Online, the Vampire Diariesstars are back together — or at least hooking up.
“Insiders say that it's still too soon to tell if they'll make a full reconciliation, but the two are definitely getting hot and heavy once again,” the source tells E!, which does line up with their canoodling on the red carpet for the show’s 100th episode celebration.
In the photos (snapped by fans at the event), Ian and Nina were spotted embracing and gazing into each other’s eyes. Though this is much more timid than what they do as Damon and Elena on TVD, given that they haven’t been close physically in public since their breakup in May, it does hint a reconciliation.
Earlier this year when they broke up, insiders said that Nina wasn’t ready to settle down like Ian was, and that it was a long time coming, not a sudden split. They’ve remained friends — with Nina helping Ian with the birth of his dog’s Nietzsche’s puppies and congratulating him for his People’s Choice Awards nomination — but until now, it was nothing more. In fact, Nina recently got together and split up from bestie Julianne Hough’s brother, Derek Hough, though she never confirmed that relationship outright.
So, are Nina and Ian ever, ever, ever getting back together? We’ll have to wait and see what they say, but we’re all for them mirroring their love off-screen again.
