Serious question.
Why do we have Rox fans posting here, dropping bait arguments like:
Lin deserves to be bench
He was given lots of opportunity
They let him play his game
He*s a bad defender and wasn*t a factor
Bev was better than him & thats why he started
Meanwhile, offering no perspective on Lin*s game and how his presence would benefit
the Lakers, since this is a Laker forum and a thread welcoming Jlin to the team?
You guys don*t clearly see Lin as a positive addition to your team and is doubtful
about his skill in general, so why still come in here? What*s your goal?
Its logical to think that anyone registering here in July would be lin fans, or will
leave post about his curiosity of Lin*s game, but some of the post here just doesn*t
add up.
Look guys, this isnt Rox anymore, Jlin has already moved to another team, whatever he
does now or in the future should not concern you guys anymore.
Just go focus on the players and the team you root for instead of coming in here.
You*re not Lakers fan, and not even a Lin fan, so why even bother coming in here, for
just one player? Really.
What baffles me too, some had just conveniently forgotten that Harden+Lin was touted
one of the best backcourt back in 2012.

Clutchfans to LG. Their purpose is to troll Lin fans and stir up the controversy. The

If you look at the timeline and the back story of the whole Jeremy Lin returning to
Houston, it makes perfect sense. Jeremy Lin was cut from Houston, ends up in New
York. Linsanity happened. Alexander got pissed at Morey and wants him to get Lin
back. Lin resigns with Houston. But since Lin made Morey look bad for cutting him,
Morey has to make Lin look bad to prove to his boss that he originally made the right
decision and the whole Linsanity thing was a fluke. Hence the past 2 years of
constant benching and inconsistent play. In the end, it wasn*t all McHale but also
Morey trying to tear down Lin to prove himself right.

Good points. From watching Rocket games they seemed to want to hype up Beverley every game. Even when he was having terrible games, they would talk him up. It was very strange.
有道理，看火贱的比赛就觉得他们每一场比赛都想炒作贝佛力，哪怕他打得烂透了，火贱照样说好话捧他，真是太奇怪了。

I want Lin to go all Linsanity and end up a top 10 PG. Hell, if Linsanity happened he*d be top 5.
While it would be great for the Lakers and great for Lin, I mainly want to see it because I want Morey to look dumb. Lowry, Dragic, Lin... LoL

There are a lot of skilled NBA players that don*t really have the ability to create for themselves.
The idea of making your teammates better is giving them opportunities to do what they do best in a situation that they can excel at.
Look at Jeremy Lin*s "Linsanity" run. Steve Novak? Iman Shumpert? Those guys looked like stars because Lin made his teammates better.
Did he actually improve their skill level? No. Of course not. But he did help them better contribute to the game.
Making your teammates better isn*t about increasing their skill. It*s about giving them an easier opportunity to contribute.
联盟里有很多有技术的球员，并不具备为自己创造机会的能力。

2 things that I know Lin will do and that is-- continue to work on his game via being a gym rat and playing his ass off on the court. Both attributes that every fan should appreciate.
I also think that Nash (along with Kobe) will be a tremendous influence for Lin*s development. I*m on record in thinking that Lin will excel here and prove a lot of pundits wrong.

Lin is going to have a big season for the Lakers. I love how humble he is and how hard he plays, he could do some stuff for us at his size at that spot.

Lin is a confident player. It*s the way he*s been misused that gives the impression of him losing confidence.

He*s definitely a skilled player; but I don*t believe him to be a superstar. He makes a living off of ticky-tack foul calls. The amount of flopping he does is amazing.
In the playoffs, those ticky-tack fouls aren*t called as often; and we see his production and efficiency go down. The real Harden is a good player, but not near the superstar player that we*re supposed to believe he is.

It also doesn*t help that his game depends on FT*s. As we all know, the playoffs are more physical and fouls are not called as tight as the regular season. Harden*s game is very predictable. He either drives and tries to draw contact or shoots the 3. He doesn*t really post up or shoot the midrange often.
