It looks like pop princess Britney Spears is back on the market after splitting from boyfriend David Lucado. The 32-year-old singer confirmed the news herself via Twitter earlier today, writing, "Ahhhh the single life!"
According to TMZ, there was a pretty major catalyst for the breakup: a video of David making out with another woman. "David is very, very in love with Britney," David*s rep tells the site. "This is unfortunate and he hopes that it all works out."
Regardless of the reason, E!*s sources say that, while she*s pretty broken up about it, Britney will recover soon enough. "She is heartbroken," says the source, "But she will get through it. She*s a strong girl and he was never right for her."
The "Circus" singer started dating her lawyer beau around February 2013, soon after ending her engagement to her former agent Jason Trawick.
