        this one has some pretty big changes (listed below).
        the main thing we were trying to address here was the balance between the aggressive military approach and a more peaceful / diplomatic approach.in the previous build, going full on military was the only way to win, so the change here are meant to slightly gimp positive feedback for aggression, while rewarding peace a bit more.
        there's also a bunch of new art in the game and we've started replacing some of the ugly temporary UI with the real deal.

          changes:
          * Mine cost reverted to 40/80/120/etc progression* When drilling a mine, outpost retains its properties (e.g. a factory still produces drillers)
          * In sub-to-sub combat, captured specialists go aboard the winning sub
          * Hypnotist applies its ability on arrival as well
          * Providing support requires a lead of 20 Kilos of Neptunium
          * Got rid of base electrical output of 150
          * Support adds 2 drillers per production instead of 3
          * Support no longer gives a bonus to electrical outputron

            we didn't like the changes we made last time to try to favor the peaceful / diplomatic approach a bit more. we reverted most of them, and instead made mining cost increase geometrically.we also want to encourage folks to use the forums for feedback and discussion, so please feel free to post pretty much anything you want.here's a full list of changes since the previous release:
            * Drilling converts the outpost to a mine (instead of just adding a mine to the factory/generator)
            * Generators are back to +50 electrical output instead of +100
            * Queen adds 150 electrical output regardless of her location
            * Mine cost increases geometrically now (40/80/160/320/etc.)
            * Support bonus of +50 electrical output added back in.
            * added In-game announcements (that's probably how you got to this post! among other things, we added this in order to expose more people to the forums)

              Some big changes in this one:Mines cost 50, 100, 150, 200, etc
              Added Princess specialist
              Pirate has 2x speed instead of 3xSecurity chief gives +10 instead of +5 to all shields
              Martyr now has higher combat priority than revered elder
              When a player is eliminated, all specialists remain in the game (they become captives)
              Keep in mind that these changes are only active for games that were created with this build or later. Past games and in-progress games are not affected by this.

                  hi everyone,we now feel like the game is in a good enough place to start inviting more players into the private alpha. it's obviously far from finished and there's a lot of placeholder art and ugly programmer UI, but the gameplay is pretty solid at this point.if you're new to subterfuge, welcome!
                  we hope you enjoy the game, and if you do, help us spread the word by inviting friends you think would also enjoy it. also, if you have questions or want to discuss the game, the forums (right here!) are a good place to do that.

                    if you're a veteran, help us create a positive community by being helpful and welcoming towards the new players, even when you're at war with themover the next few weeks we will be adding more and more players who signed up for the alpha.
                    we're going to try to grow the community slowly over time so that we can work out technical and design issues as they arise.
