INTERVIEW: PRIEW MAGAZINE (PETER+ANN)March 10, 2015
Interview from Priew mag. Thanks to a good friend of mine for helping out as well.
Reporter: The ‘Boss’ character is very charming. Girls scream for him just as the same for Pranon. P’Ann, what do you see in Peter?
Ann: I have wanted to work with him for a long time, but didn’t get the opportunity to. I don’t have other reasons, I like him as soon as I see him. I saw attractiveness and when I hear his voice, I feel… Oh! I like it and I want to act with him. And this is the first time we acted in a lakorn together, but before that there are people who contacted us to act in 2 to 3 lakorns together. My schedule was free, but not his, so we didn’t get to face each other. As I was reading this one, I feel it’s definitely has to be Peter. He fit as a Westerner boss, someone who is a playboy, or if I have him act flirty with me, it makes him look cool and not in a perverted way (laugh). I think his adorableness is just right.
Reporter: If you compare the character that Saya created to chat with her young co-worker, there are many similarities between that and the real world.
Ann: I think with our society today, there are an increase in lonely people, everyone is attached to chatting and attached to their friends online, it’s like we get to know more people but no one is really truthful with you. In real life, I think that there are women with the same age as Saya who has good feelings for someone while working, but has to secretly love them through chatting because they are worried about their status since it’s very important.
Reporter: What is your next lakorn going to be like?
Ann: I will make a dramatic, slap-kiss lakorn (laugh). When I produce something different every time, I’d like to go ‘Back to Basic’ because they feel very easy now. I want to do that for my 4th lakorn because my real life is really dramatic (laugh), but I believe that in those dramatics, there are some charms in it, you’ll have to wait and see.

Reporter: Peter, are you perfect like Lipda in real life?
Peter: No, I’m really messy (laugh). Lipda has to be responsible for a lot of money that belonged to other people, it’s a very difficult job, you have to be very careful. Therefore, Lipda has to be very precise in decision making, stand by his decisions, and be very clear about what he wants. As for me, I’m a relaxed person, even though I had to take responsibility of many things at a young age — I came to Thailand alone at 19 years old, released an album at 21 and took care of my crew… You can say that I became a boss at a young age (laugh). And recently, I just produced the show Rock & Road, so I’m still a boss anyway.
Reporter: You two acted really well together, have you worked together before?
Peter: I used to do photo shoots with her once or twice but that was a long time ago. I never get to work with her seriously like this before. Ann is known as a talented actress. She plays her character role at 100%. I think she’s perfect for the role ‘Saya’. I have watched the lakorns she has acted in. I feel that Ann is someone who is very talented, so when she delivered her moods, I was able to act. Also, I’m more proficient (smile).
Reporter: And what was the obstacle?
Peter: It’s probably trying to remember the lines in Thai. I learned reading Thai by myself. I have never studied it before so I’m 3 times slower than others. I’m a detailed worker, I can’t just let things slide away that easily. I have to review the script at least 3 times, if I’m not ready, I have to read until I feel that I can do it. Also, there are long lines too, but everyone already knows that Boss knows everything so I was saved (laugh).
Reporter: How does Boss Lipda view love?
Peter: For Lipda, love is a very big thing, it is the best of everything (laugh), but he hasn’t started walking through this path yet. The person that he sees at the end of the road is Saya and she hasn’t gone anywhere until Pranon came into his life. Lipda thinks that he shouldn’t mix work with his love life, but when he realized that he’s going to lose the person he loves, he decided to fight for her.
Reporter: Would women like a handsome man like Lipda?
I think they would very much (laugh), even I like him. When I read the script, I thought that Lipda was very cool.
Reporter: The scene that impresses you.
Peter: It should be the slap/kiss scene. Ann likes to slap and I like to kiss a lot (laugh). But getting slapped by Ann’s small palm I didn’t feel anything because my skin is thick, but getting punched by a Westerner who is bigger hurts a lot more. But I told her to go all out because when I act I have to get hit fully so I can easily act out. If I don’t get slap, but acts as if I did and continues to act on, it’s emotionally hard for me to do so I have to really get hit.
Reporter: Please say something about this project to the fans.
Peter: I think Ab Ruk Online is perfect even before we begin filming, each one of us fit the character very good. The team is exactly as I expected. The director has a lot of experiences, the actors get to use their ability to the fullest.

记者：你们两个合演的真的很好，你们以前一起工作过吗？
Peter：我以前跟Ann一起拍过照一次或两次，但那是很久以前。我从来没有像这样认真严肃地跟她一起工作过。Ann被称为一个有才华的女演员。她100％发挥了角色的性格。我觉得她是完美演出"Saya"这角色。我看过她出演的戏剧，我觉得Ann是个非常有天分的人，所以当她传递了她的情绪，我能够接招反应。所以我更精通罗（笑）。

记者：有甚麼样的障碍？
Peter：这可能是要读泰文的剧本吧。我是自学阅读泰文的。我从来正式上学学过泰文，让我在阅读上比别人慢3倍。我是一个仔细的工作人，我没办法轻松放过。我至少要读过脚本3次，如果我没有准备好，我会读到直到我觉得我的情绪能做到这一点。另外，还有一些长台词太多，但每个人都已经知道老板什麼都知道，所以我得救了（笑）。
记者：怎麼看Boss--Lipda的爱？
Peter：对於Lipda，爱是一个非常大的事情，这是最好的东西（笑），但他还没有开始走过这条道路。他看到在路的尽头的人是Saya，她一直没有去任何地方，直到Pranon走进他的生活。 Lipda认为他不应该工作跟感情混在一起，但是当他意识到他将失去他所爱的人，他决定为她战斗。
记者：女人会喜欢一个像Lipda英俊的男人吗？
Peter:我想他们会非常多（笑），即使我也很喜欢他。当我读了剧本，我觉得Lipda非常酷。
记者：那你印象深刻的一幕。
Peter：这应该是一巴掌/吻戏。安喜欢打，我喜欢吻了很多（笑）。但是Ann的小手打下去我觉得没甚麼感觉，因为我皮厚，打一个西方人你要更用力些。我告诉她要全力以赴，因为当我有被打的感觉时我可以很容易地表演出来反应情绪。如果我没有真的感受到被打巴掌，我就无法感觉到那种被打的情绪，所以我必须真的被打到。
记者：请您谈谈这个戏要传达给影迷。
Peter：我认为线上情缘是完美的，即使我们开始拍摄，我们每个人都很适合角色性格。Team完全合乎我的预期。导演有很多的经验，演员也能充分将能力发挥到淋漓尽致。
