Learn a new languages was one of my favorite challenge. I have learning English since I was kindergarten. But, in kindergarten and elementary school, it just added up my knowledge about English vocabulary. When I was junior high school, I just known English from a book. But, in the end of the third year of junior high school, I realize that English is a need for me. So I decided to take a private lesson.
I learn a lot from my teacher. She didn’t use any dull method, she teach me to love English itself. So she gave me a task to listen music and singing it in front of her. At that time, I have to choose one of BSB’s song and I ended with singing “show me the meaning of being lonely”. Unfortunately, she can’t teach me again because she has to leave this town with her husband to central java. So I stopped the lesson. Then, in second year of senior high school, I started to search new private teacher. And one of my best friend who has private English lesson asked me to join. So I joined them. But I didn’t confidence at all so after two months I quit. My best friend, Arsya has it all. She really good in English. Especially, British accent.
I know that I’m a timid person. That’s one of my weaknesses. I’ll tend to didn’t know even I know the answer. I’m afraid to wrong. It’s because I haven’t practiced much with English. But, if I have a chance to learn it more. I’ll be good in English. I have strong will. I’ll keep that in positive mind.
Arsya She is very kind. She told me to never give up in English and teach me how to effectively learning English. I started watching & listening music in English. And she leaned me a lot of an English novels. Even I have no confidence in English, with a strong will to learn English more there will be a way to make me confidence especially speaking in public.
So, I think to joining English conversation course. But, my short plan is to have many friends who native in English and have passion like me. Because, it’ll be wasted if I never use it in daily activities.
