学校概况
新学院大学 （ New School ）始建于 1919 年，是一所历史悠久，在纽约市非常有名的大学。从建立至今，该校一直以社会研究课程闻名。 学部跟研究所的学生共约 9300 人，主要科系包含社会科学、人文学科、公共政策、美工设计跟艺术音乐相关科目。在社会科系享有盛名，在设计方面也是佼佼者，帕森设计学院是许多从事设计工作者的梦想，而新学院也有独立的音乐及戏剧、管理、传播等专业课程供学生进修。
