Its festivals like @bfffestival that remind me to stick so fiercely to what it's all about, to give voice to stories that matter. It has been an honor to play Julie Richards in @paintedwomanfilm a rarity in the Western genre for audiences to follow through the eyes of a woman. Excited to be in the midst of change, where female driven films are bankable & at the end of the day it is about diversity in general, every person on the planet, no matter their background has a story worth telling. Everyone is unique and worthy to have their voice heard. I got chills hearing Gena Davis & friends talk so beautifully yesterday on this subject, a 🔥has been lit within me to continue to not settle, @gdigm you inspire me.
