我住在芝加哥，Donna住在佛罗里达州。我们在网上聊天气，聊家庭，聊煮饭烧菜，聊后院种的花草蔬果，都是些平凡人生里的平常事。

有时我写点小故事，Donna总是去读，然后点评一番，告诉我她的感受。我喜欢这样跟她交流，喜欢有这样一个女友分享人生的喜怒哀乐。

前几天我自编了一首英文歌，歌词如下：
"Walking On My Way To Buy Bananas"

I saw the blossoms pretty and fragrant.

A little hare hid behind a tree.

For keeping in a better shape and eating healthily,

I hugged my neighbors and said Hi to all of them.
The yellows, the whites and the blacks from everywhere,
but we didn't have shemales, which was fine.
A cheerful mood, a smile on my face,
the warm sun and the breeze wind brought me gladness.
The beautiful suburb, the lovely nature,
a happy song beyond the lake was rising in the air.

这首英文歌来源于我的中文歌《徒步去买香蕉》。
在美国的郊外，一般买东西都会开车去，商店比较分散比较远。但那天天真好，我又想锻炼，决定徒步去买香蕉，一路心情美美哒，于是就产生了这首歌。
歌词：
徒步去买香蕉，梨花扑面粉飘。群鸟叽喳掠过，野兔身后静悄。
徒步去买香蕉，还有吐司面包。为了减肥大业，毅然放弃雪糕。
徒步去买香蕉，笑与邻舍唠叨。黑白黄种俱全，但是没有人妖。
走一程，笑一路，阳光暖暖微风煦煦衣袂飘飘。
步儿轻，心儿爽，湖面悠悠荡漾一支婉约的歌。

Donna听了我自拉自唱的英文歌后，给了我大大的赞赏。她说：
I love it. I think you're very talented and your choice of words is charming. I hope you never change. You did a beautiful job all by yourself.
You have a beautiful voice. This song is sweet and uplifting. And the musical instrument is wonderful. Is there anything you cannot do? I don't believe there is. Your family must be very proud of all of your talents.

Donna建议我把“hare”改成“bunny”，她说大家都喜欢“bunny”。我听从了。
她还说她不懂歌词里的“shemales”。我解释后，她说原来是“transgender”。她说这个不要改了，你用的那个词更有意思些。
