“Way of Anti-Corruption”
Governments which advocate anti-corruption should know that the root causes of corruption lie in one’s inner greed, hatred and ignorance. One covets wealth, lust and power due to ignorance which also gives rise to disputes, conflicts and fights. Only by assiduously practicing Precepts (Sila), Concentration (Samàdhi) and Wisdom (Prajna) can one tame his greed, hatred and ignorance. Precept means observing law and discipline and then leading a simple life; Concentration means nurturing mindfulness to gain the ability to resist temptation; Wisdom means realizing the truths of the world to enjoy inward self-sufficiency.—Master Jiqun

政府提倡反腐，须知，腐败之源在于内心的贪嗔痴。因痴而贪财、贪色、贪权，因痴而引发是非、矛盾、争斗。惟有勤修戒定慧，才能平息贪嗔痴。戒是遵纪守法，过着简朴的生活。定是培养正念，获得抵制诱惑的能力。慧是洞明世事，享有内心的自足。—济群法师
