In the first half we were very poor but that was credit to Fulham who played well. We gave the ball away too much which is unusual for us.
We played too deep - we couldn't get out and couldn't maintain the ball.
Fulham knocked it about well and created some chances. After 20 minutes, I said that I would be glad to get them in at 0-0.
We asked them to move up the pitch and get in Fulham's faces a bit more, stop [Danny] Murphy dictating play.
We got the goal and deserved it. We tried to get a second but the keeper made a couple of good saves. The longer the game goes on, you get nervous.
I was pleased with the three points, they are hugely important to the club.
One thing about Kenwyne, he's never said he wanted to leave, he was never interested in doing so. He deserves the contract, we need him. He's an important member of the team and he showed that tonight.
Kenwyne scored a big goal for the club; it's given us a vital three points.
We've closed the gap on a few teams but there's still a long way to go; I think it will need 40 points to stay up.
To get three points is really important for us and I'm not too concerned about how we played, the points are more important tonight.
I don't want to go through a performance like the first half again this season - I thought it was disastrous, we looked nervy.
Danny Collins tonight was outstanding and we had good energy from Deano.
