On February 5th, 2018, Kamelot announced that longtime member Casey Grillo has departed from the band to "pursue other musical and touring opportunities" and to focus on his drumhead company. On the same day, Firewind drummer Johan 'Jo' Nunez was announced as the replacement drummer.
