事实上早在2018年5月就已经通过比较隐蔽的方式决出了首届环球杯的12支参赛队伍（由于选拔赛过于激烈和严苛，其中包括2支应邀参数的球队）。，他们将分成3个小组进行决赛阶段的比赛他们分别是：
A：阿根廷（种子队）、尼加拉瓜、索马里兰、德涅斯特河沿岸共和国
