A time when a family member asked me for help happened when mygrandma asked me to teach her how to use the smartphone. Then, she called me to visit her at the weekend and mostimportantly, I was supposed to be her teacher. When I got my grandma’s home, Itaught her slowly and patiently, from how to open the device, how to make avideo call to how to take pictures and selfies. I even downloaded variousselfie apps for her since my grandma was the kind of lady who is obsessed withthe latest trend. After two hour’s teaching, she seemed to get all my pointsand began to use it without my assistance. Speaking of how I felt about it, Igot good kicks out of the whole process. I really enjoyed showing her how touse the phone because my grandma used to be an English teacher who alwayscriticized my academic performance when I was in high school. Now, it was myturn to teach her, which made me feel that I had really grown up.
