根据广元日报报道，3月3日，西安交通大学2023年少年班录取结果发布，在全国2000余人参考、录取约200人的招生计划中，广元市初三女生杨琳琳脱颖而出，成为四川省仅有的两位成功录取学子之一。一考免三考，她将跳过中考、高考和研考，用接下来的8年时间本硕连读，获得硕士学位。
今年15岁的杨琳琳，目前就读于利州区万达实验学校2023届19班。面对媒体镜头，杨琳琳自信从容，落落大方，思维清晰。她表示自己对于中考并没有特别的目标学校，“只要我考得好，应该会有学校来找我。”
