玩好了注册表、组策略，老鸟们开始关注“服务”了。微软放了那么多服务，看得眼花缭乱，不知道该怎么办。我为了“服务”，重装了十几次系统，有些心得，现在来写一下。
打开服务的方法是运行“services.msc”。
有危险，必须要禁用的服务：
Net Logon
NetMeeting Remote Desktop Sharing
Remote Desktop Help Session Manager
Remote Registry
Secondary Logon
Server （局域网则为“自动”）
Terminal Services
推荐禁用的服务：
Application Layer Gateway Service
Error Reporting Service
Windows Time
推荐设为手动的服务：
Background Intelligent Transfer Service
COM+ Event Service
Cryptographic Services
Distributed Link Tracking Client （NTFS分区则为“自动”）
Help and Support
IPSEC Services
Machine Debug Manager （Office）
Print Splooer （有打印机的则为“自动”）
Security Center
Shell Hardware Detection
System Event Notification
Task Scheduler
TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper
Theme （使用“经典”样式的XP/2003用户，若在2003下要使用XP主题，则为“自动”）

Automatic Updates （盗版、拨号用户则为禁用）

第三方公司的服务推荐全部设为“自动”，包括杀毒软件、驱动程序等。
凡是没提到的服务都作默认处理，如果发现有的服务不存在，不用去管它。
这样设置以后，应用程序的使用绝对没有问题，在进行一些高级设置（比如用户分组）时会有些麻烦，但是并不是不能做到。设置服务之前一定要设置还原点，以防万一。当然，在熟练之前重装几遍系统是很正常的。
不过还是祝大家设置顺利。

以上设置方法经过我至少10次的实践，还是比较可靠的，但是大家一定要谨慎行事。Windows Vista里面又有很多服务，我又开始折腾了。这次我把控制面板给搞坏了，不知道下次又要搞坏什么。Windows Vista推出了，微软要学习，硬件厂商要学习，软件工作者要学习，我们大家都要学习。
