最近从迷惘无奈慢慢走向喜欢这个专业，阅读作业里有RogerWHolmes的the challenge of college education,里面讲到大学教育的宗旨应该是liberal education。“Do not take us as models, we represent an academic people. You are going to a broader world and a non-academic environment.Make us realize that our interests and understanding should spread into every field. Make us see that our students are at least as important as the subjects we teach.Make us understand that marks and examinations are mere administrative conveniences to be taken far less seriously than we take them. ”这段话让我很感动。
