Americans believe no one stands still.If you are not moving ahead,you are falling behind.This attitude results in a nation of people committed to reserching,experimenting and exploring.Time is one of the two things Americans save carefully,the other is labor.

Again,you can not connect the dots looking forward;you can only connect them backward.You have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.You have to trust something--your gut,destiny,life,karma,whatever.The approach has never let me down,and it has made all the difference in my life.

Steward and his team put out several issues of The Whole Catalog,and when it had run its course,they put out the final issue.It was mid-1970s,and I was your age.The back cover of their final issue was a photograph of an early morning road,a kind you might find yourself hitchhiking if u were so adventural. Beneath it were the words"Stay Hungry,Stay Foolish."It was their final issue as they signed off.Stay Hungry,Stay Foolish.I have always wished it for myself.And now,as you graduate to begin anew,I wish it for you.

No one wants to die.Even the people who want to go to heaven don't want to die to go there.And yet death is the destination we all share,no one has ever escaped from it.And it is as what it shoulu be because death is very likely the single best invention of life.It is life's change agent.It clears out the old to make way fot the new.Right now you the new is you,but you will gradually become the old andbeen cleared away.Sorry to be so dramatic,but it is quite ture.
Your time is limited,so don't waste it living other else's life.Don't be traped by the dogma--which is living with the result of other's thinking.Don't let the noise of other drawn out your own inner voice.And most important,have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.They somehow have already know what you turely want to become.Everything else is secondary.
