What is the “city of Water “? It is venice ,an amazing Itlian city .people build it on 118 small Island with in a lake ,and has about 150 canals and 400 bridge
For centuries, people took kind of long and narrow boat to travel with venice.In the heart 
Of Venice lies the famous St. Mark’s square .when the Venice carnval comes,it is full of people in colour masks and costumes .It is a big square like those all over Europe ,but a special one because it is in Venice .No car noise nearby ,just you ,the square and the pigeons.Yes,the square has a lot of pigeons .They are not afraid of people at all ,and love to pose with tourists for a photo ,So it is always very amusing to watch parents try to make the bird land on their poor children for a photo.

You May know the English letters A,B and C.But do you konw there are people called ABC?You may like eating bananas.But do you konw there is such a thing as a "banana person"?How strange!Are these people from "another earth"?No.They are just Chinese people like you and me. 
ABC means American-born Chinese.An ABC is a Chinese,but was born in the United States.Sometimes,people call an ABC a "banana person".A banana is yellow outside and white inside.So,when a person is a banana,he or she is white inside-thingking like a Westerner and yellow outside-looking like a Chinese.Do you konw why?Usually,ABCs konw little about China or the Chinese language.Some of them do not speak Chinese.Also,they are not intereted in Chinese politics. 
But if ABCs cannot speak Chinese,can we still call them Chinese people?Yes,of course.They are Chinese.They are overseas Chinese.These People may be citizens of another country like the US,England or Canada,but they have Chinese blood.Their parents,grandparents or even great-grandparents were from China.They all have black eayes and black hair.But they are not Chinese citizens.They are not people of the People's Republic of China.For example,we all konw the famous scientist C.N. Yang.He got the Nobel Prize for physics in 1975.Chinese people love him.But he is an American citizen.
