Sweet, sexy and super funny – 5 things I discovered about Prabhas during an interviewIt's been almost a month since I met Prabhas and I'm still not sure if it was Amarendra Baahubali who mesmerised me more or then the man who essayed such a powerful and lovable role on screen.

Okay, so it’s been almost a month since I met Prabhas and over two weeks since Baahubali 2: The Conclusion released. And I’m still not sure if it was Amrendra Baahubali who mesmerised me more or the man who essayed such a powerful and lovable role on screen. Inline image 1It was the first time that I was meeting the Baahubali actor. His co-star Rana Daggubati, again a down-to-earth and easy going hero, was someone I had met long time ago when he debuted in Bollywood. While Rana was impeccably dressed in linen jacket, a cool navy blue T, well fitted denims and loafers, Prabhas was different. He was well dressed too, but nothing that you’d expect from a superstar who had just delivered a mega hit. The reserved actor had opted for a casual grey kurta, denims and jet black loafers. His tall frame, artistic long fingers, that he caressed his stubble with occasionally, a smile that went straight up to his eyes and super cool presence, was something that nobody can resist. But in my fifteen-minute long interaction there are certain things about Prabhas, the person, that I learnt.
#Prabhas is super funny: Yes, even before I could roll my interview, Rana and Prabhas were doling out another chat. The two hunks were to say some lines and introduce themselves and give a channel ID (I’m XYZ and you’re watching ABC). Prabhas was almost childlike when he chose the most easy portion. He decided to go first. The take one was smooth, but Rana forgot the name of the channel he was asking viewers to subscribe to. Prabhas was lost in his thoughts. And the second take turned out to be at that moment, which left everyone in the room in splits. Prabhas went first and said, “Hi I’m Prabhas!” Rana decided to let this blooper pass but not without poking fun at his friend and responded, “What’s up?” Everyone guffawed as Prabhas was super funny in the moments that followed and it almost took the actor a few seconds to realise his blunder and laugh loudest at it.
#Cool and confident: Now I’m not trying to draw comparisons, but rarely in Bollywood would you see two actors so comfortable and at ease with each other. We all knew that Prabhas and Rana were fighting each other on screen, but off it they were like buddies. And it wasn’t just for the cameras. While Rana did most of the talking, Prabhas did not mind it one bit. But we were lucky cause Prabhas got chatty during our interview and we loved how Rana was equally cool when he butted into his responses. Now that’s one equation we’d like to see amongst our Bollywood stars. This also reflected how the two stars were not just easy going, but also extremely confident about themselves.
#So sweet that you’d almost be diabetic: Not in a bad way, but I almost could not stop using SWEET to describe Prabhas after the interview. Many a times actors take offense when you ask them about personal subjects, even though it has been widely discussed. So when I quizzed him about marriage plans, Prabhas was awkward and shy, but not one bit angry. Also it was so sweet of Baahubali to admit that his biceps weren’t as big as Bhallaladeva.
#Modest: The actor almost withdrew and coiled into a shell when we probed him about cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar’s comment on how he’s bigger than Salman, Aamir or Shah Rukh Khan. While his co-star Rana couldn’t stop gushing about Prabhas’ commitment and dedication for their film and his success and stardom, Prabhas rubbished the compliments and said that Mr Kumar had just “blabbered” something in excitement. With this response he totally won me over. And mind you, he wasn’t being modest for the sake of it, from the looks of it he genuinely didn’t take that comment too seriously. Not to forget for every compliment you paid Prabhas he’d attribute it to the genius of SS Rajamouli. If that’s not modesty then what is?
#Sexy: Now I’m not too happy when people address fans or followers or friends as darlings, but when Prabhas tells it in his baritone voice it does sound sweet. His personality oozes confidence and what makes this new heartthrob of India sexy is that he’s completely unaware of his powers. One could literally feel the vibe change when people interact with him. Me, for one, has been totally bowled over by him and smitten by his on and off screen avatar. And if you doubt me, then go watch Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. Go fall in love with the large-hearted king, Amrendra Baahubali, and you’d see a reflection of the man himself in the character too.
巴霍未上映前，宝莱坞的作者采访了帅帕。这是一篇采访已过一个月后，作者对帅帕仍印象深刻的5个地方。大致意思为：这位作者说到，距离见到prabhas已经一个月了，巴霍也已上映了两周，我仍然不确定是Amrendra Baahubali还是在荧幕上扮演了这个强大而可爱角色的男人使我更着迷。图片是我第一次见他的样子。他的合作明星（Rana Daggubati男二反派）又一次踏实认真地成为了英雄（这位明星之前出演过宝莱坞电影，所以这位记者不是第一次见他），今天Rana Daggubati穿了。。。。。衣服（略过），Prabhas不同，虽然穿的很好，但是你不会想到这样一位超级明星带来了轰动效应（我觉得记者的意思是穿的普通的意思吧）。下面一句略去（是对帅帕穿着的描述）。他高大的身躯，修长的手指（帅帕手指长得真的好看），不时地抚摸着他的胡茬，没人能抗拒他超酷直爽的微笑（这句不知道怎么翻译好
）。在15min 的互动中，我了解了一些关于Prabhas的信息。
1.funny，Prabhas是超级搞笑的人，是的，在我还没来得及去采访前，Rana和Prabhas就已经开始另聊了，这两个帅哥说了一些台词，介绍了自己，并给出了一个频道ID(我是XYZ，你在看ABC)。Prabhas像个孩子一样，他选择了最容易的部分先进行了
，这部分很流畅地进完成。。。。。。（后面的笑话看不懂啊，也许是他们的幽默）。
2.冷静、自信，这两位演员（帅帕和Rana Daggubati）让人感觉舒服和自在，在荧幕上他们厮杀，但荧幕外他们像兄弟。当Rana Daggubati做了大部分访谈时，Prabhas一点也不介意，幸运的是在我们的采访中，Prabhas还是很健谈的，Rana Daggubat在他的采访中也很冷静。他们两人相处的非常好，对自己也很自信。
3.sweet，你可能会得糖尿病
，但我几乎不能停止用甜甜的方式来描述对Prabhas的采访。很多时候，当你问明星关于他们个人问题的时候，他们会生气，即使这已经被广泛讨论。但当我问Prabhas关于婚姻计划的问题时，Prabhas虽很尴尬，很害羞，但一点也不生气。而且it is so sweet of Prabhas（这里为啥说sweet，不太明白，是说帅帕说得很可爱？）to 承认他的二头肌不像Rana Daggubat那么大

4.谦虚（已经看到好几个地方说帅帕这个印象了），当我们提到之前电影摄影师KK Senthil Kumar拿他和三汗比较的评论时，他完全缩成一团，但他的合作明星Rana Daggubat却在一旁滔滔不绝的说Prabhas对这部电影的奉献努力和成功，Prabhas对他的恭维嗤之以鼻，并说Kumar（上面的摄影师）只是在兴奋中胡言乱语（or喋喋不休？），他的这些反应完全赢得了我的芳心，留心发现（或者说注意），他完全不是为了谦虚而谦虚，他是真的不在意那些评论。不要忘记你给他的每一个赞美他都把它归功于SS Rajamouli导演的才能
5.性感，我不喜欢人们称呼他的粉丝、追随者或朋友为darling，但是Prabhas用他的男中音说出时，是如此sweet。他个性里流露出的自信和性感，他完全没意识到自己这方面的能力。当你与他交流时，你就能实实在在的感受到这种共鸣。我已经彻底被他打败，被他的荧幕上和荧幕外所迷住。如果你还有怀疑，去看巴2，去爱上 the large-hearted king, Amrendra Baahubali，你也会看到这个人物身上演员自己的影子。

The phrase ‘overnight sensation’ was perhaps coined for Prabhas. The actor took over the scene with the release of Baahubali and now enjoys nationwide popularity. It is not just that he is a known name now, he also has girls going gaga over him. While many may argue that it was his portrayal of the righteous Amarendra Baahubali that has fetched him such female attention, it can’t be argued that it is Prabhas’ inherent charm that percolates down to the character. No sooner had the film released, the audience went crazy raving about him on social media and such is his popularity that several Bollywood filmmakers are vying to make him the hero of their next films. And to think of it, Prabhas hasn’t even made a Bollywood debut yet, as Baahubali was quintessentially a Telugu film, dubbed in other languages. Imagine the impact he will make when he forays into Bollywood!
