Mostof the main players from the Harry Potter franchisereunited for HBO Max's upcoming 20th anniversary special, Return to Hogwarts —with one notable absence.
J.K.Rowling, the creator and author of the massively popular Harry Potterbooks, did not join DanielRadcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint, nor did she sitdown for a new interview to reminisce about adapting the eight movies inspiredby the books. Instead, the producers of Returnto Hogwarts used archival footage of Rowling from 2019.
An invitation was extended to Rowling toparticipate, but her team determined the archived comments from the writer wereadequate, EW has learned.
Sources close to the situation sayRowling's statements about trans people and the controversy swirling aroundthem did not play a part in the team's decision.

Amongthose who participated in the reunion are franchise producer David Heyman and directors Chris Columbus (Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets), Alfonso Cuarón (Prisoner of Azkaban), Mike Newell (Goblet of Fire), and David Yates (Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince, and both Deathly Hallows films).
In the special, Radcliffe, Watson, andGrint are accompanied by their former costars Tom Felton, Matthew Lewis, Bonnie Wright, Evanna Lynch,James and Oliver Phelps, AlfredEnoch, HelenaBonham Carter, RobbieColtrane, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Mark Williams, Ian Hart, and Toby Jones.
A representative for Rowling declined tocomment.

我大概说一下这篇文章的意思，其实英文很好懂，相信大部分人看得懂。
重点就是说节目的剧组其实是有邀请罗琳参与其中的，但她的团队认为作者的已有的报道是足够的。了解情况的消息人士称，罗琳关于跨性别者的言论以及围绕他们的争议并未影响团队的决定。
然后报道也解释了当前的情况，是说罗婶自己曾表示她并不恐惧和反对跨性别者，也支持他们的人权，但她的很多言论跟TERF有关，TERF被认为是比较激进的排除跨性别者的女权主义群体。而LGBTQ组织，包括GLAAD和Trevor项目，都谴责这类言论。很多HP系列的演员也都表示并不认同。很多HP的粉丝社群选择和罗琳保持距离。
但是当然，这些并没有影响本次重聚节目的企划。

那么说一下后续，小丹就是在这种情况下表示媒体想说他和罗琳对峙但这不应该是重点，哈利波特仍然是他生命中重要的作品，性别问题请咨询专业人士，支持跨性别者的权利还是必要的，这些方面专业人士比我懂，等等的。
说白了这就是个专业态度，大方得体，也没什么错误，JK自己都未见得因为这个就对小丹或者HP的其他演员们有什么愤怒。都成年人了，JK会不知道想法各有不同，表达自己意见是大家的权利么？又不是乌姆里奇，什么话都不让孩子说，说了就觉得是卖自己。
某些人真的HP原作白看的那种。
小丹在文章最后说“如果HP教会你爱是伟大的力量，……那么这种力量是神圣的，意义不会改变”，你看人家演哈利的理解得多像样，再看某些看了营销号张嘴就骂人的，不仅JK的话不看，也根本没有学会怎么爱别人，邓布利多说的“我们可以彼此保留不同的见解”，都忘了吧。
——HP演员和JK什么交情，因为这种破事的观点分歧就不去请人家了，不是搞笑么，我跟我爸妈还总吵架呢，过年不也照样回家过……
而且，其实我怀疑很多人根本就没有过追哈利波特连载的经历，都不知道罗琳根本就很少接受各种节目的邀请，电影上映出个伦敦首映礼，其它的基本就没了……想看她的访问得去买花絮碟……
