On July 11th 2011 at 7pm cst Jewel and her husband Ty Murray welcomed a 7 pound 6 ounce baby boy named [[[[Kase Townes Murray]]]].
"Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby boy Kase Townes Murray into the world! We are over come with happiness - it really is as great as everyone told us it would be- better even! " Said the couple.
Jewel is 4 time Grammy Award nominated singer and songwriter. Currently she can be seen as Host and Judge on the new Bravo series, “Platinum Hit”. This August she will release a children’s themed album of original music titled The Merry Goes ‘Round.
Ty Murray, co-founder of the Professional Bull Riders and a 9-time World Champion, is a color commentator for Built Ford Tough Series broadcasts, airing on VERSUS, NBC and CBS.
The couple has been married for 3 years and live on a working ranch in Stephenville, Texas.
