In one week’s time, they held the second meeting. Joyce asked whether they could call it Mayfield Sun or the Mayfield Mirror or the Mayfield Star. Pansy said that they could call it Mayfield Mirror, because this newspaper would report what happened in the school. Everyone agreed his suggestion. Then they began to discuss how often they would publish the paper. Joyce thought they would publish the paper once a week. Everyone agreed with her because if it was published once a day, they would be too busy to study.Arthur said that newspaper should be free to readers. As a school newspaper, we couldn’t get money from students. Then Tony asked which sections the other three would have. Joyce answered them, Pansy was responsible for collecting information. Tony was responsible for the investigation. Millie was responsible for writing. They agreed to conclude the meeting then.

In order to make a new newspaper more quickly, we heldthe second meeting this afternoon. First Joyce asked us whether we had decidedwhich sections we would like to have. Pansy said that she would like to be aneditor of Letters because she thought that she was patient enough to receiveanyone’s complaints and the students in our school sometimes could feel worriedand get angry. Our teachers hoped us to help and solve the problems ofstudents, so we all thought so. Then, Tony would like to be an editor ofSports. He said that every student almost have no time to play some sportsbecause of study, and he was interested in sports. Everyone all agreed withhim. Millie said that she wanted to be responsible for the School News. Theschool wanted us to write about something interesting of school so thatstudents would like it very much. We thought it was a good idea. After decidingwhich sections everyone would have, we discussed some questions we had writtenon a list last week. Tony said that we could publish the paper once a week, butJoyce didn’t think so. She said that we all were busy studying and had littletime to prepare the paper so that we should publish the paper once a month.Pansy, Millie and I agreed with Joyce. So we decided that we published thepaper once a month. Then we had a discussion on whether the paper was free toreaders or not. We thought that the paper should be paid by readers. Joyce saidthat we could get some money from it and have an interview outside or organizesome good activities by using the money we got. At last, we considered the nameof the paper. Most of us thought that the Mayfield Star was so great. Tony saidthe star was lovely and students were like stars that could shine every day. Wethought it was good and then decided the name. Finally, the meeting ended.

One week later,Pansy, Tony, Joyce, Millie and Arthur held the second meeting. All the students suggested Tony should be responsible for sports, because he is good at sports and he likes playing some ball games. Pansy likes watching TV about news and often reads newspaper with her grandfather, so she was responsible for people,and we all think she will write it well. Millie is responsible for letters. She is careful and she likes playing with friends, so we all think she will help them and she will be a good editor. Then, Joyce said that we should publish the paper once every two weeks, because she thought there would be something happening that we can write all them on the paper. Finally, we thought we could call the paper Mayfield Sun. Pansy said that the sun brings warm and bright to us and it also means bravery and justice. We heard it and agreed with her.

We held the meeting again. We were talking about sections,the name and something else.
First,Joyce said that Tony,Millie and Pansy should take charge of different sections.The school wanted to have the Music and Art sections,the Writing and studying sections, the Sports and Stars sections.Tony was responsible for the third one,because he is a boy that likes sports.Millie took charge of the second one because she is the top student at school.Pansy was a leader of the Art club in the school last year.So she took charge of the first one.
Then we decided something about the publish and the name.We made a decision through the voting. We would publish the newspaper once a week. We called it "the Mayfield Sun".Pansy said it can make the busy students happy and beautiful.
We all had the same ideas that they need to pay for it. There were so many students to made,we would spend much money on viewing or organizing some shows. Then the paper will be wonderful.
Finally, we made a list about the first paper. It was very important to all students. We hope our new "Mayfield Sun"paper will be famous and successful.

I thought Pansy should be editor of the Fashion Section ,because she has experience too. She was the editor of the class paper two years ago. Tony looked a little fat, so we thought he must be very fond of eating .Then we all clected him to be the editor of the Food Section.We voted Millie for the editor of the Writing Section,because she was good at writing.
After we discussed ,we agreed that the name of the newspaper was Mayfield Sun,because the newspaper is just the rising sun.
We thought the paper should be published once a week. We all need time to cellect the information for the newspaper ,so we tought that publishing it once a week was the best choice.
And the newspaper should be free in the frist two months,because we need to let the students and teachers in school understand the newspaper.After two months ,the reader should paid for it.So that you could continue reading the newspaper.But the money won't be given to us ,we would donate the money to those who need help.

We held the next meeting after school. Pansy,Tony, Joyce, Millie and I were at the meeting.
First, we decided to choose the name of thepaper. Among the three names which were suggested at the last meeting, we chosethe Mayfield Mirror because we wanted our paper could expose some evil thingsand preach some justice things in the school. At last we all agreed with thisname.
Then we all think about whether the readersshould pay for our paper or not. Millie said if we didn’t get money from them,we wouldn’t find good news. Pansy and I didn’t agree with her and we thoughtthat we could find our news by ourselves and the Mayfield Mirror can onlyreport the news in the Mayfield School, it wouldn’t use much money. Joyceagreed with us and said if our paper was not free and we couldn’t make itbetter enough, nobody would read the newspaper. At last we all decided to publishit once a week because we thought that would attract some readers and ournewspaper would be free to the readers. But if it’s really necessary, we willcancel this sign.
At the end of the meeting, we decided thelast question briefly. Pansy said that she should be the editor of the Peoplesection, because she was friendly and famous in the school. Almost every studentknew her so she can interview many people. Tony said the he could be in chargeof the Sports section because he liked sports very much; he always plays somesports with his friends and pays attention all the sports meeting in theschool. Finally, Millie said she could be responsible for the headline and thenews section because she always care about the news in the school.
Finally we concluded the meeting anddecided to publish he first paper next week.

We elected the chief editor and secretary last weekend.Today,after one hour's meeting we have a fianl result about the newspaper.We have three sections .Pansy is responsible for one of the sections is about the International news or our country's news .Tony is responsible for sport.And Millie is responsible for food.As for name,we discussde that Mayfield sun is the name of our newspaper because it sounds really interesting.At the end of the meeting,we discussed that we should publish it once an month beacuse there are more things happened than a week.As the saying that there are no free meal in the world,so we should let the students pay for money to it.

We are going to publish the new newspaper,and there is our report about the next meeting.First,we discussed the person who would be responsible for different sections of the paper.Pansy said she would like to be responsible for the news sections,because she reads the news with her family daily and she was quite familiar wirh hre news around us.Then we all voted for her.I suggested Tony should be responsible for the food section,because he was fond of food and had good opinions on food,I thought he was the best person in this section.They all agreed with me and then voted for him.Millie said she would like to be responsible for the sports section,because although she is a girl,she liked sports even more than boys and she also watch sports daily,she was a real sports fan.Then we all voted for her.Next,we discussed to publish the newspaper once a month because we thought readers need enough time to read.Once a month is the best choive.Then wedecided to publish the price of the newspaper,because we thought if we don’t earm money,we won’t have the better economy conditions to improve the quality of the paper.Finally,we chose the Mayfield Sun to be the name of the paper,because this name sounded very powerful and dynamic,and we hoped that the newspaper would be like the sun that rises everyday in people’s heart.It will be the best one in everyone’s heart,and be important to everyone.We are all full of hopes with it.

At the next week, we held the second meeting. Pansy wanted to write the main news in school in the paper, because she wants to be a reporter in the future. Tony was responsible for the activities in school. He was interested in in it. Mille would collect good articles for the paper. The reason was that she is good at it. We decided to call the paper the Mayfield Mirror because we wanted to tell the truth. It would be free to readers in the first three weeks. And then they must pay one yuan for newspaper each week. We wanted to let students have a try with it first. If they like it, they can buy it weekly.

Joyce said Pansy took charge of the world news,Tony took charge of the sports news, and Millie took charge of the local news,because Pansy was elected the editor of her class newspaper about the world news, Tony was interested in the sports and Millie was the editor of her class about the local news. The other three all agreed and said they thought that they should publish the newspaper twice a week, because it could make students at Mayfield School know the news usually. And we also talked about whether it was free to the readers, or not, we decided it wasn`t free to the readers, because we could use the money we got to the charity. Joyce said it was great, and I chose a name from your suggestions, it was Mayfield Star, because it sounded nice and it was like the star in our school!

It has been a week's time since the last meeting ended. We had the second meeting today. Firstly, we chose a name for the newspaper. I suggested for 'Mayfield Mirror'. Mirrors is a thing which can reflect things in it.' Mayfield Mirror' means the newspaper is about our school life. It's better than other ordinary names. Then we all agreed to call it Mayfield Mirror.
Millie said that readers should pay for the paper. We can use it to help some por children. This idea was so great that we all agree with it. Each paper is 3 yuan.It sill be published once a week.
At last we talked the other three's work. Study is the most important thing for a student. Pansy was good at studying. So Pansy took charge of the study news.Such as some one's study ideas , some kownledge. We all loved sports and Tony was good at kicking football. So he was in charge of the sport news. We always feel bored in school. So Millie took charge of collecting some interesting news.
All the questions had been solved. Then we all agreed to conclude the meeting.
