中交是指项目的中期交工。
中交意味着施工单位完成了工艺运行路线上的所有建设内容，工艺路线全部贯通，可以进行系统试压、水电联运等工作，剩余项目不妨碍试生产的进行，如保温、防腐、地坪修整、绿化等。
